Post 8. Cali is for fishing and Tupac

CALIFORNIA SWIMBAIT FISHING HERE I COME!

Well, it's about that time again - I'll be leaving for California on November 13th! I'll be fishing Diamond Valley Lake and Irvine Lake, which by far have the nicest rental boats in the area (just FYI). Foot-controlled trolling motors and all! Did I mention it's down the street from the casino? Mission #1 is to catch the giant. Mission #2 will be to stack everyone at the poker table. That's the overall mission statement for this trip.

I'm very new to this lake, so I would love some advice from the locals or people who have fished it. Hell, even if you got a better lake in the area, let me know! What baits are you guys throwing that time of year out there? I will be locked and loaded with everything I have. ANY advice would be awesome! I'm also looking for a place to do a little night shore bangin.' Last time I was here, I was not prepared like I should have been. THIS TIME IT'S FUCKING ON! The cameras will be running, so I hope to bring back some good footage for you all!
